Description

We can learn to benefit from the inevitable challenges of intimacy and sexuality rather than fear or avoid them, and find meaningful ways to "re-pair" and connect deeply again with significant others when silences, pressures, arguments and differences have taken their toll. Specific processes will be presented to help couples reconnect.

This three-hour workshop includes:

  • An essential formulation putting “the couple” back in couples therapy
  • Specific Re-Pairing and nonspecific treatment effects, such as therapist attitudes
  • Role-playing of couples therapy
  • Buddhist concepts relevant to couple systems
